We offer our clients legal services on the basis of ongoing cooperation as well as individual instructions. We adjust the scope and cost of legal services to the individual needs of each client, and we take care to eliminate any risk of a conflict of interest.
Ongoing legal services
Ongoing legal services consist of providing continuous legal assistance in selected or all areas of the client's activity. Ongoing cooperation allows us to better understand the client's expectations and needs and the conditions in which the client operates. The firm's lawyers remain available to provide assistance in line with the client's individual needs. The detailed terms of cooperation are agreed in each case in a contract with the client. Where required, the firm's lawyers provide legal assistance at the client's premises or outside the firm's office hours.
Ongoing legal services are usually billed in monthly cycles:
- on the basis of hourly rates — remuneration for the actual work performed, supported by a time sheet attached to the fee calculation,
- on the basis of packages of hours contracted by the client,
- on the basis of flat fees — with or without an hourly cap.
Individual instructions
Assistance under individual instructions is addressed to clients who are not interested in ongoing legal services or who need our help in matters of particular importance or complexity. Instructions are carried out by a designated lawyer or by a team of lawyers, in each case under the supervision of one of the partners.
Instructions are billed at hourly rates, reflecting the work involved, or on the basis of a flat fee agreed in advance in line with the anticipated workload. Where fees are calculated at hourly rates, the calculation always includes a time sheet of the lawyer's work on the instruction. Costs incurred by the firm in carrying out the instruction — such as travel and subsistence costs — are added to the fee.
The firm provides its services in accordance with the Code of Ethics of Attorneys-at-law and the Rules of Professional Conduct for the profession of attorney-at-law (radca prawny).
